# Two weeks ago I did not know

Two weeks ago I did not know if I would make it through one single day. I have now made it through fourteen of them in a row. That is not luck. That is me, showing up for myself again and again.

The shock has not vanished, but it does not own every hour the way it did at the start. You have stretches now where you forget for a moment and then remember, and that rhythm is normal, not backsliding. Healing after something like this is not a straight climb out of the dark, it is more dark, then less, in an order nobody can predict. Two weeks in, you are still here and still trying, and that is the whole job today.

Today's step: Step outside for one minute and feel the air on your skin, no phone in your hand.
